PRIORITIZE
ADVENTURE
What does it mean to prioritize adventure? It means developing a habit and making it part of your routine. Every weekend, every month, or every other month, make it a routine to go on an adventure. A hike, a trip, a swim, an exploration, an immersive experience. They don’t have to be big adventures, small ones will do. Get outside, push the limits of your comfort zone, chase a whimsy, and see what positive benefits will come of it. If you go on one adventure per month for a year, that’s twelve things you wouldn’t have otherwise done. In ten years, that’ll be 120 adventures. In 40 years, that’ll be 480 adventures. Now that is a life worth living! Think about all the enjoyment, the friendships, the memories, the anticipation, the stories… Life is a currency, and you have to spend it all.
Adventure foresters a sense of curiosity, it builds a sense of resilience and self-reliance, confidence, and adaptability, it can strengthen bonds, get you in better shape.
By embracing adventure, we nurture our spirit and gain a fresh perspective on life’s possibilities.
